This week, with yesterday being Valentine's Day/Singles Awareness Day, I thought it would be appropriate and entertaining to take a look back into the old history of what we now know as Valentine's Day and see how far away we are from what it actually was in its origins. That and all the thousands of greeting cards that will inevitably line our hamster cages.
